We
have been recognised as Investors in People!
The Investor in People award recognises organisations
that are committed to continuous improvement through:
Integrated planning and management which links development
planning, staff development, performance review and
evaluation systems, so that they work together to raise
the school's performance and a collaborative learning
culture which enables these systems to work effectively
for the benefit of everyone in the school. |

We were recognised as Investors in People following a 2
day assessment in July 2003 because we:

have
a clear sense of direction and purpose towards which everyone
is working
-
have
development plans focused on raising pupil achievement
-
review
practice regularly in relation to school goals
-
define
what needs to change in existing practice in order to
meet the goals
-
plan
and support the development of individuals and teams to
bring about those changes
-
evaluate
how that staff development contributes to the school's
performance.
