Woodland Grange Primary School New Library

We opened our brand new purpose built library in the Autumn Term of 2002.

The library is home to our large collection of non-fiction books and has Internet research facilities. There are tables to work at and soft seating too. The library is equipped with an interactive whiteboard.

We use a lending system called Micro Librarian to sign books in and out of the Library. This system uses bar code scanning and finger-print recognition to allow quick loans and returns.

Our library is timetabled for class use during the day and Reading Club, Chess Club and Woolcraft at lunchtime. After school it is used for Punjabi Club, Gujerati Club and meetings.
