Woodland Grange Primary School Rhythm Bash II
During February 2004 we enjoyed two exciting days of African
and World Drumming workshops with Phil McFarlane of Rhythm
Bash.
Each year group had their own 'hands-on' workshop, drumming
various instruments in a 'drumming circle'.
Each day culminated with a Key Stage concert during which
everyone of us, yes all of us, had an instrument of some
kind to play.....the noise was fantastic!
We played rhythms and tunes and we played loudly and softly.
We learnt a lot about keeping a rhythm, looking, listening
and working as a team.
