Woodland Grange Primary School Beauchamp Challenge

Each year Beauchamp College organises a Science and Technology challenge day. Each school in the area (10 schools) enters a team of 12 to compete against each other in Scientific and Technological challenges.
There are all sorts of challenges and tests including cooking, making a compass, creating electricity from a potato, answering scientific questions, building a mock satellite mast, building vehicles and building water powered rockets.

We have had some very successful teams. In 2000 we came 1st, in 2001 we came 2nd, in 2002 we came 1st, in 2003 we came 3rd and in 2004 we came 1st!
